I understand losing to Fnatic at lock-in, but they should matched equally to NRG and they 100% should have beaten EDG in Tokyo. LOUD had growing pains with Aspas, and DRX were fucking themselves over with Foxy9 and Zest, NAVI could have beaten both

NAVI lost to EDG 15-17, 12-14.

NAVI was also insanely close to DRX and LOUD in Champs 2023 (making NAVI look like a top 5-7 team at the event despite falling in groups)

NAVI vs DRX: 13-15, 13-9, 12-14
NAVI vs LOUD: 13-11, 11-13, 11-13

Nah their 2023 set them up for failure the next year but yeah their 2024 was incredibly disappointing

they looked good till they faced heretics and in split 2 they got fucked cus they had to scape goat someone and sadge it had to be doombros
it was said multiple times that the only games they won during splti 2 and the one game they won on play offs were cus he came back and helped

They had to make a roster change because they had to do something to prove that that cared about their results and that they somehow had to change. Everyone knows what the real problems of this team were but cutting the coach is easier than cutting your IGL

i legitimately have no idea how this team blew so badly because none of their players individually were bad (aside from maybe ange1), they just fully stopped working when it mattered

the only reason they made international events outside of lock//in was because they piggybacked off of the spots FNC earned when they won (navi took BOTH of them)
