0/8, also why is toxic behavior more fantasized and glorified than compassion, i get that they are competing for very high stakes but yelling at them won't make them perform better, when you maintain a good environment people have tendency to feel comfortable and do well and this is true for everywhere. Don't we criticize toxic parents, toxic friends, toxic work culture then suddenly in sports or games that toxic behavior towards your own teammate who has the same goal as you is good. Why?
there are a lot of factors which leads to someone performing good, but an igl - in game "leader" should lead by an example, a leader shouldn't throw his team under the bus, you did a mistake that's not quite good but ok calm down and move on and focus on the future, shouting at someone so much doesn't change the past it just makes people unwilling to work with you making you an incompetent leader
it's not throwing them under the bus, it forces you to think about the game. Electronic was the same way, he was a top 4 player in his prime because blade made sure he knew every single fucking mistake
CIS is a really strange reason in terms of comms and stuff. Zeus, the best CIS IGL of all time (schooled Ange1 in CS), won the Krakow Major in 2017 after yelling at his team for 2.5 minutes straight. REsult? 4 rounds in a row vs astralis in the semifinals. CIS NAVI was all screams no coherency, were winning plenty of events.
if someone yelled at me for 2,5 minutes straight me personally i'd lock tf in
short summary of what he said, no need for translation, the sheer amount of blyat cyka screams aura (he talks about it post-game with his ex-teammate ceh9 when gambit went on a fairytale run and won astralis in semifinals) https://youtu.be/-bMgaizhmWE?t=97
Ahh I see, I am not much of a cs esport follower except I play a lot of cs1.6, but thanks for the info!
basically it was unlucky after boombl4 got kicked, then elec was forced into this role
