Our tier 1 is stale. Our tier 2 is ass: We're the only region not to have an ascension team even make playoffs.

both emea asc teams are basically different teams (or in m8's case, completely dismantled) from what they ascended with, so ig unsurprising, asc teams in other regions usually just got like 1/2 changes
I’m sure it doesn’t help that probably 90%+ of EUs FPS talent worships counterstrike instead. And it’s fair to say EU is giga nerfed. Literally every Toronto team is already shafted because of the map pool change and tejo nerf. And emea has less than half the prep time (when accounting for travel, ewc etc). And TL doesn’t have their IGL/best player. Imagine Sen trying to do something at Toronto with tenz(much better player than penny) filling in for johnqt, they’d probably get grouped too. Losing your IGL and star player is like having 2 fill-ins ngl. Lowkey sad that BLG let TL win a map.
Honestly, I just need a western win. Regional parity for the win. I won’t be able to cope anymore if apac/china win 4 in a row. Sen/g2/mibr/fnc/th are who I’m rooting for.
FNC and TH were hardly using Tejo to begin with and Sunset is supposed to be one of TH's best maps. If anything these changes benefit EMEA considering how much more Americas, RRQ, and XLG utilized Tejo comps
We had a lot of tech issues and we finished WAY after everyone else, non existent competitive integrity.
EMEA only good when they have more international slots like CS and early valo days. Give asia (pacific & CN) equal international slot, we own you guys.

Cause back then KR was restricted to 1 international slot. It takes a Nuturn and 2 KR slot F4Q to get another korean teams into internationals. Munchkin had to move to JP to make internationals and XETA have to move to US.
That's how Optic and SEN manage to get their international trophy in the past, by having more international slots. Now we see it in GenG and T1 since korea finally got more slots. Meteor would never won 2 titles without moving to JP Northeption roster to get international experience.
how on earth would t3xture/meteor/Munchkin get any international experience? T3xture's talent was buried in Damwon/Dplus, would never see Karon either if VS/DRX keeps taking the 1 international slot.
C9 Korea tried, TNL tried, but only Nuturn manage to break VS 100 wins record. F4Q manage to maker internationals cause there were 1 instance where KR was given 2 internationals. East Asia LCQ for champs is the only chance for KR teams to make internationals without facing VS/DRX.

emea has this phenomenon where we have great teams, (2024 TH, KC, Vit early on) that start at their peak and just fall off, some slower than others.

apac and china are scouting really nice CIS players like something, jemkin, rarga, kr1stal, v00kashu,dos9 etc. EMEA should have gotten these players but they missed their opportunity

there's plenty of talent in EMEA. The orgs are just fucking trolling at bringing it together. Our "superteam" candidate didn't even buy a fucking igl for fuck's sake.
I also think there's a bit of a dirge of good coaching staff outside of pretty much exactly FNC and TL right now. At some point some of these orgs are gonna have to accept the coaches they've kept on for long term ARE the problem.
