How to save T2

In the last official Valorant video Faria says he was want to hear some idea to help Tier 2, so here is a list of low cost idea to save Tier 2 :

1- What Org in T2

• Merit team
• Academic team
• Protected team that represent smaller market and doesn't have a T1 (Viet Nam, Italia etc)
  It’s important to have academic team that focus on younger player because thats :
• Force partner to invest into the scene
• Partner structure will bring veiwer
• Push -18 players on academic team instead of playing in a team that could qual to ascention and distort the result of a team than win with an ineligible player

2- What Stakes in T2
Ascention is good but not enough, we need best T2 team to have a chance in inter :

• If you have a best team in the world, you deserve a chance (before the roster explode)
• If T2 team have a chance to go to inter, this will bring viewer
• It will bring investors
• Avoid Ascending team to get poached if they are good enough to reach interloqué
  It easy to make format that gives a path to T2 team :
• Kickoff : Make the top 4 T2 team in kickoff so we have 16 team and format is better
• Split 1 : Make the top 4 T2 teamparticipate to playoffs
• Split 2 : Ascention winner plays seed #4

3- What Grassroot for T2

• Gives more threshold to Premier (8 win → Semifinal, 10 win → Final, 12 win → Qualified without playoff), it’s okay if we have more team in promo-relo, best team will win anyway and doble elim BO3 is way more fair than simple elim BO1
• We should have a broadcasted amator Tier 3 league for South East Asia and way more subregion
• We should have a fully amator Tier 4 league based on the model of national league in north Europea

t2 is not savable

you might want to double check your video it doesnt have sound on for me 😭

also t2 teams being able to qualify would bring investors back but will prob suck for the first year seeing that most teams are F/A and wont have the funds needed to travel. also t2 orgs are still going to be in trouble if they dont make a decent run and if theres no prizepool for playoffs (like americas split 1).

also wouldnt this put a lot of strain on the t2 scene? seeing that they need to be finished with their regular season and playoffs before the franchising teams.

First of all, stay away from soop and fire everyone who decides to sell T2 in Southeast Asia to soop.
Secondly, I think there could be another track, which could be eight teams or 12 teams, with three or four places in each region and T2 first or second place to fill the gap in the offseason
