which tier 2 team would be a good team in tier 1 if they won ascension this year？I honestly thought spg and apeks would be really good teams in franchising after such huge winstreaks in tier 2，but I was wrong。nongshim are good but they don't really stand out that much to me as a good tier 1 team

In NA Challengers of the top I would say Cubert, Ambrosia (before they lose satellite) and Envy. I really like YFP but they don't look like they are in an incredible form RN. Burger Boys is a solid shout too just don't know how they would do in T1 / LAN

I'm not sure you can hope for much better than nongshim (g2 doesn't count). I'll be surprised if we ever see an ascension team win any tier 1 tournament in their first year.

Dont follow T2 beside NA/LATAM and some EU.

I'd say PCIFIC (think they can find another 16yo ranked demon). I'd say Enterprise but they have kiles...

SRB if they locked tf in

Xolos/Shinden would have a mediocre performance but they would be better than Furia of course

It sucks that we never get to see the true potential of a tier 2 team that wins Ascension because of age or Tier 1 teams poaching. The only ones we have actually seen through really is G2 and Gentlemates if I'm correct.

Apeks lost their star duelist and Soulcas, Bleed lost their core because of age and then their org was shit, XLG lost one of their players because of the import rule, and the ascension winning roster is different from the current one. 2G couldn't have their star duelist because of age, then they drop their IGL because of the performance. Its a sad system to see this so frequently.

That being said, I think M80 winning ascension either years would've been really great for the scene. That core of both rosters 23 and 24 were incredible and they would've made moves in franchising.
