Toronto match times

I live in USA Est time zone and I feel like these times are worse then the normal Americas times, 12pm and 3pm is so early during the week days especially for the west coast. Kind of bummed they didn't stick to 5pm and 8pm EST like regular Americas matches.

Edit. Like we finally get another NA tournament and the times just actually suck for NA, like why....

If the schedule stick like regular Americas matches, Asia viewers are better sleep that watch

Same for the last 3 tournaments for us NA viewers, why can't we have good match times for the 1 tournament we get in the last 2 years.

cause RIOT wants the JP and CN viewers to inflate the number.

yeah probably true, just sucks because NA has had to watch the last 3 tournaments at awful times.

Yeah but most of that was before Riot really took over with the partnership era
is EU that bad for Asia? isn't earlier then what it will be for Toronto?

Champs 22 Istanbul time would be considered good for asia (9pm and midnight)
Champs 21 Berlin is Midnight & 3am (Toronto is earlier by 1 hour so 11pm and 2am).

BLG 1st game against TL starts at 3am. No nats and EMEA has less time to prep. KangKang and nobody might watch party it.

fr, thankfully some/most of them r on weekends

for big events tho ending at 10/11 is bad, esp w an audience as young as vals

Sucks for sure but it makes more sense for riot as a company because those times work better for others in other countries. times are fire for me tho i wont miss a single game super hyped

Usually events are put into time slots that somewhat accomodate multiple regions time zones. This time was probably just put so EMEA viewers can also watch some of the games.

The tournaments in Asia were also usually done in a way that it was late enough for EMEA watchers to see at morning. So I presume they try to accommodate minimum 2 regions at a time, which can be a bit weird for the home region. Paris will probably be either early for EMEA to accommodate APAC watchers or very late for Americas.

That's fair, honestly I would rather have good times for games for the region its in over trying to accommodate everyone, that's not possible so it would be best just to make the experience better for the region hosting.
