It's not confirmed or even rumored, but I think it would be beneficial to the scene
KR would receive org support and viewership while JP would get better competition and improve as a region
Most JP orgs run their max of 2 Koreans already anyway, so I see no reason not to just merge the two

nah SEA dont need another slot, they have 2 good teams but their region depth has not yet surpassed NA
Do you even watch VCTs in SEA? i could name atleast 4-5 teams that can compete intl. I kinda agree that they don't need another slot but SEA is deep. ( not saying deeper than NA )
i dont watch it much, but given that Paper Rex and Full Sense bombed out of their groups and BOOM only placed 7-8th in LCQ, behind both of those teams, i think its a fair assessment

only TS and x10 have proved anything on the international stage, FS and PRX both bombed out of their groups
imo only X10 proved anything relevant at least based on their wins. TS won against Vikings and CR which doesn't say much.
thats fair, but TS did smack Gambit on Icebox and also smacked Vikings who were so so close to beating Gambit and being the #1 seed in their group, so i still think theyre a solid team but not as good as the EU and NA teams and KRU
no , 2 for latam ouldve been good if Australs was still around , but keep the same amount of slots for NA and EMEA
