they got fucked up shit in other games too, making some of the worst decisions ever
Just an FYI they got new ownership within the last year so none of the drama from the 2023 roster or CS is connected to the current people running the org (not saying that makes them the best org but should be known)

People overlook the fact that they nearly SHUT DOWN during late 2023 when the org was bankrupt, and were about to sell their VCT Americas slot
EG isn't that poorly managed anymore, they changed their management in 2024 if I remember correctly. I'd argue your dumbass flair has been managed worse tbh

I mean it's convenient to boycott Saudi Arabia. Once you start looking deeper into China, Israel, United States etc it becomes a hassle to boycott at that point. You're pretty much a hypocrite if you enjoy anything.
I like this statement but what is the purpose of it? Other NA orgs have been covering EWC news without a post like this and no one seems to mind. Plus EG does not have clout and fans. But good for them
that is exactly the point of it, they don't have to do anything and all dumb ppl out there think they are great and like EG now, they also pretty much said they will cover it if they qualify 😂
people really need to stop crucifying orgs (and talents) who want to participate. idc if they release a statement of wanting to play both sides of getting money but keeping their image, but it's ironic that those who don't speak out seem to have more favorable response from the community than those who do.
I mean other than EG being broke af and having been managed horribly for a long time (getting better tho), idrk what the deal is. Surely they can say they don’t agree with specific Saudi laws but also still attend.
