like not like no whatever or what not but just like a basic background check to check whethter these people at least have a semblence or normality and arent like people like flor.
ik that this might mean taht some goat player is left out but tbh the alternative is way worse seeing that flor pretty much now has killed gc and apeks as well as trans community representation and image in valorant.

plus this is normal in work in environments to have a healthy work environement with normalish people instead of psychotic sex freaks so its not an illogical step

Honestly yes, especially for GC. It's not shocking that a twisted individual like Flor was able to use their work environment to abuse girls. This happens in institutions all around the world like in religious organizations and schools.

Nahh thats too much i think, the most basic check is criminal, in case like this you can't know that unless someone speak up or he leak some shit, RIOT can't track some private things

This usually is being done by teams, it's somewhat hard for Riot to enforce, but yeah a minimum check should be required. It's really insane to me that some people in the scene seemingly knew that something wasn't right with Flor and that it didn't come out sooner.

Especially when people become the face of a scene they should have been checked upon sooner.

I hope riot gets serious and do background checks especially for GC so that freaks like Flor don’t enter in there I wonder how did the rest of the 4 ex team members managed to stay this long with Flor

Apeks did checks but theres a reason why this stuff did not come out until now. no one was willing to say anything as long as she carried them

The concept behind this is good, but I don't think it would work in practice for cases like this.

Flor only got exposed due to the first victim speaking out initially, and I don't think a Riot background check would be reasonably thorough enough to find something like that.

Although I am still for it, I think you should temper your expectations if it were to happen
