Isn't this shit the same anticheat that does some sketchy stuff to your files to see if you're cheating? how are people still getting away with cheating if that's what's happening lmao.

because they dont go into ur files to see if ur cheating they go into them to take all data
I would make a joke about tencent here but I'm going to refrain myself from doing that
either they give them a different version of anti-cheat or they can do something on a user-by-user basis to allow it based on mac
because external cheats like two pc's, Arduino, etc., are basically impossible to detect if they have slightly decent code to trick the anti cheat into thinking they are a mouse.
Surely it cannot be that hard to just require players to have a cam facing their computer from the back to prevent cheating
soft aimlock isn't easily detectable just from having a camera over your shoulder. Even with a mousecam you can't reliably sync up mouse movements to ingame microadjustments.
That would be not a good way to prevent it. First off, it is very inconvenient for the casual players, and cameras cant see in the dark. Secondly, a shoulder cam wouldnt be able to catch soft aim or triggerbot if the player just hides the arduino.
Only way to counteract external cheats is to have manual gameplay checks of anyone that has suspiciously high win rates and headshot rates, but this would be too expensive for Rito.
