Riot, please bring back the Lock//In tournament. Watching it before was what introduced me to other teams and players. Each series was chef’s kiss because of how high stakes the games were.

I loved the atmosphere of the venue and the brazilian fans and the vibe of the tournament in general but no way can riot accommodate 48 teams for a tourney
Its not good for players tho so they wont they dont wanna get flamed by all the 24 teams who get fucked in first round
I still remember the TS vs TL where jessie knifed soulcas and he was shaking LOL
i was a TL fan too back then bcz of jamppi and yeah that was a toss of a match
If they do lock in again, they should do a proper world league with all 48 teams
their format sucks
The only way a format like that works is at the end of the year. Starting a year off with a single elim tournament for one of the first times teams play is just going to result in mid games. Double elim is just better imo, you actually get to see who the best team is.
