Anti-Cheat

I was thinking to myself why Riot (if they indeed don't) track player's stats as an indicator of cheating. If they could monitor any KD over 1.3 and any headshot over 40% over, let's say 10 games. Would it not stop many blatant cheaters? I don't mean this as a complete solution as if you are walling its easy to win crucial rounds without putting up ridiculous stats.

on average it takes riot 6 games to detect a cheater, so this would both increase false positives and take more time

Now thinking about it, this is also a detection for smurfs. False positives, I think its the fact that they should monitor and investigate those with those stats.

tbf the issue with smurfs is you have no clue if they are smurfing or if they just came from another game. If donk decided to boot up val, he'd probably be in gold/plat lobbies initially (for his placements since that's just how placements work ig), but he's obviously mechanically better than everyone else, so he'd just dumpster on everyone. Alternatively, imagine one switches to a different tac shooter for like 2 years and then just came back to val recently... obviously mmr means that they'll be in bronze/silver lobbies initially :/

edit: smurfs are kind of just an unavoidable issue for f2p games like val. There's no way to moderate it because there will simply be too many false positives imo

It takes riot 6 games to detect a cheater using public cheats*
Private cheats take more games

I think their anticheat is already perfect, no? Since eps 1 act 1, I only facing cheater once at 2021. The rest doesn't even need 6-10 rounds to detect the cheat and cancel the game
