how can I increase the range of my laptops wifi detection
is dual band okay or 2.4 GHz
I changed it to 2.4GHz for better range

also a question, does speed differ with range and obstacles in between, this is probably yes but can it diminish drastically to like 2 Mbps

In my country it mainly depends on walls cause we have thick concrete walls but ik Americans have walls made out of paper so idk there

maybe an external WiFi adapter could help but don't quote me on that

same in the UK. its a pain to try get wifi to my room through like 4/5 walls. thinking of getting a powerline adapter they can be more reliable than wifi extenders as all they do is just repeat the incoming wifi so if its bad itll just be the same

laptops have weak wifi reception
use ur phone

connect wifi to ur phone
than connect ur phone to laptop and enable usb tethering then ur pc will get ur phns wifi through cable

u can do dis if u hab an android. don't knw about iphone
