nah man, we still got a ways to go, the cs major had 2.7m at its peak, 1.1m peak is promising though and the sky is the future :)
lmao,how can you say that when 90% of the fans are casuals who dont even care about the game and just bandwagon some random team,if the games wiewership is dependant on 2-3 teams playing its not really a promising sign
+1 People don't like Valorant pro scene yet. They just like their team and will watch their team only. This match broke the Val record bcz NA was cheering for KRU. I think people are going to like the pro scene in general in the future and many matches will be on the top of viewership.
what games are you talking about,btw the first games between lower regions got high wiewership only because they were the first games,the wiewership instantly got worse on the 2nd day,every match with good wiewership is only sen and kru rn

not to mention a lot of views are inflated by watch parties. this is also not healthy IMO as if the streamer dont stream most of the ppl wont even bother watching it
Yes CS has double the viewing and double the players but Valorant is a new game.
The semifinals KRU vs Gambit that just ended right now was an amazing series. It went to 3 maps and on map 3 it went to overtime 5 times. Anyone could of won it. KRU was up 10-4 at one point and Gambit came back to win it.
You probably dont know how big of a stigma gaming was 15-20 years ago. Kids watch twitch instead of tv now and its normal. Obviously new good game will quickly get many players. Its not like the players base will grow with a same rate for valorant next years. Valorant still did not stepped through possible fad phase so...
CS isn't dying. This games will be competing against each other and that will make both grow.
