KOI is crumbling as an org rn, it’s not even about Valorant anymore
But yeah short story, basically yeah, they’re giving tryouts to a random mf off the street before giving it to anyone from the academy. Academy players publicly complaining about it
Also for some fucking reason players in the VCT roster refused to have Yaba as coach threatening to bench themselves if they did?? Not sure how that even makes sense but sure
If you want a small snippet about what’s going on org wise, some big people in the org are being accused of very fucked up stuff, incompetence and in LOL straight up sabotage against the org
I wouldn’t be able to tell you the whole story rn tbh haven’t been paying enough attention. It’s literally developing as we speak so idk
In practical Valorant terms not much. Most likely just that they will end the year with a remade roster from the tryouts with none or maybe one academy player. And next year will probably remake the roster again from 0 hopefully a decent one.
Other than that, idk if the academy will hold up after EMEA challengers or if it will collapse. ZachKappa might get snatched away by M8

idk abt vct but i saw koi fans are mad about how the lec team was treated where there was like glass in food, when players got sick they got homeopathy instead of actual doctors, their cook gave a player with nut allergies a bunch of different nuts to check which one he was allergic to cause they didnt know (this cook works for vit now btw... even the val team like wtf)
idk whats going on but it all sounds insabe
Update, amazing news here. This solves pretty much everything at least in the medium term. The guys from Movistar Riders will be in charge of sporting decisions from now on which are extremely capable people and their integrity is not compromised, all the drama goes away
