yeah that was a weird era, if you didn't go all-out then you'd just have an awkward configuration due to the extreme lack of parity.

and anything worse than the 1660 like the 1060 or 1050 would run like shit.

i3 5th gen 4gb ram windows 7 ultimate 1tb hdd intel hd integrated graphics can run gta san on 40, was able to run valo oon 30fps when it was launched but the time icebox came they also increased spec for pc , can run need for speed underground 2 at 60 fps , can run minecraft at 40 fps (oonline oonly till 1.16.5) was able too run csgo at 20 fps, able to run call of duty MW series old oone at almost 30-40 fps (my first pc ) 11 years ago
