They trolled the Veto against the team known for using their weaker less shown maps to leverage knowledge advantage and anti-strat teams in order to drastically improve their map pool post-groups.
Definitely not "deserved" but I still think they are the better team overall. SEN staff is cracked though.
Honestly, teams having entirely new one-and-done (but well practiced vs academy) comps to beat SEN's metagaming is something I'd genuinely like to see tested.
SEN showed crazy tenacity in this game. They deserved the win just for that. If you are looking at all 3 maps combined, then maybe you can say G2 looked better overall because Split was one sided. But G2 also lost a 5v4 and 5v3 back to back at the end of Map 3 to lose. So you can also say maybe not. I respect the potential comeback from G2, but I also respect the 10-2 lead that SEN got in the 1st half. Both teams played very well, but you need to close out 2 maps in a Bo3 and G2 failed to do that.
