By eSports you mean multiplayer competitive game right? Cause eSports isn't big enough to effect the actual game.
Like, yeah eSports is bi,g but thats only ever like 10-25% of players at the tippy top of timesLikeke when the world cup happened for Fortnite or when CSGO had its last major but in no way can eSports keep a game afloat and are even sometimes why they die cause it costs a lot of money for events and if people complain about games It just allienates people.
Geometry Dash is still super relevant and one of the highest rated games in the world despite having like a 7 year gap between update 2.1 and 2.2
crossfire is really huge and china and asia so I don't think it'll die in those regions for a very long time.
