people shitted on lock in because of its format how are 48 teams and 3 GROUPS OF 16 going to work
swiss system. 3 wins you are in, 3 wins you are out. 8 teams out of every group, 24 teams in playoffs. 8 teams get a bye round (6 3-0 teams and two strongest 3-1 teams *based on opponent difficulty)

Have it be first event of the year. The 16 teams from the previous years champs get a bye. The remaining 32 teams play single elimination matches. The 16 winners play the 16 champs teams that got a bye. Then it’s a 32 team sing Elim.
way too short for my liking, a swiss system gives a great chance to see the region strength after an off-season shake up. Like imagine if, let's say out of 12 emea teams only 2 survived the swiss systems. That would show that emea is a weaker region and they would shake up for the 2nd masters
i’m assuming the arrows are backwards bc then it would be accurate
it is simply based on the top champs finish. Seeding doesn't matter as much, you can go 0-3 with the number 1 one seed and you can go 3-0 with the 16 seed, just git gud
