i've had mouse acceleration since i got my new pc a year ago. Was this negatively impacting me?

Kk cool ty - i meant the windows option, just watched a tenz video that said to disable it and I had it active before hand
yea valorant uses raw input so it doesnt matter. it can affect other older games tho
Yea i thought so but i was just watching a sen video where they ran thru their settings and TenZ said he always turns that off
literally does nothing and is just preference for things outside of game. valorant uses raw input. don't know why people are changes their settings even outside of game to match pro players. its ALL preference
Do not listen to people who say it doesn't matter. The windows setting is bad at what its supposed to do and the concept of mouse accel itself is somewhat of a failure, it just creates discomfort and makes you more incosistent. Disable it and you will find it easier improving + aim trianing will acfually become a useful tool.
(Depends on what aimtrainer u use ofc idk i wasted a lot of hours with it on, also its jsut good ro have off if you switch accounts or reset configs whatever)
You don't know what you are talking about. Valorant, aimlabs, and kovaaks all use raw input, so the windows setting changes nothing in game.
It literally doesn't matter if you have it on or off, all it affects is your desktop mouse movement.
Mouse accel has been proven to work well when implemented properly via programs like rawaccel. Plenty of good aimers use raw accel, especially in games like overwatch.
depends, xantares and sarah frags use accel and they look insane
theoretically i think it can be good, but its ultimately preference
