If I want to travel to TW for 7 days
Taipei, Tainan and Kaohsiung, How many days for each places you will suggest?

I am American born Taiwanese, and I visited Taiwan two years ago.

I stayed in Taipei for the majority of the time and then we took the bullet train to Tainan.

I believe we stayed in Tainan for two days. There is not a lot to do there but they have very famous night markets.

Not Taiwanese, but I love studying societies and geography (cities and whatnot). From what I know about the cities, I think you should aim to spend the majority of your time in Taipei and split the rest of the time in Tainan and Kaohsiung. Maybe a 4-1-2 respectively for a total of 7 days. Have fun!
