i guess people said similar about liquid, but that was just vlr overreacting
nah, c0m and boostio were nobodies (in the sense that they were garbage). jawgemo was a promising upcoming talent pre-franchising and ethan was an established player who was well respected by most people in the scene. demon1 was technically a "nobody" but I feel like an unknown rookie performing well is less surprising than known players performing above the level we previously knew of them
ok but compare to nAts, patitek, keiko?

that's my point here, nats patitek and keiko are known talents. we know what their level is like from previous years. nats was relatively underwhelming and you wouldn't even place him in top 5 sentinels emea last year, patitek was the worst player on heretics and was awful aside from shanghai, keiko was pretty good but he was inconsistent and no superstar.
The issue i feel like is they will get blinded from getting to bangkok and keep kamo
Kamo is NOT bad at all he is pretty decent but im sure TL can find a very talented duelist idk maybe kamo can make me eat my words in bangkok (prove me and the haters wrong kamo please)
chemistry is way more important than player quality, vitality is a super team and they're losing rn
Vitality has good chemistry tho. Watch their comms videos they are always laughing and keeping the energy up
that's not the point, vitality purely based on player quality is miles ahead of liquid yet they're losing to them

brother... let's say both teams have "good chemistry" and yet vitality is losing right now despite undoubtedly having the better players, why are they losing? liquid is playing around each other way better than vitality is which is why I'm saying their chemistry is "better" and replacing one of their players for a firepower upgrade in the middle of the season would be stupid
Why they are losing is simple. Liquid are playing better than them in every aspect. The shots are hitting, the calls are working everything is working for liquid and vitality are like headless chickens right now. Thats why they are losing
kamo is crazy underrated, he had on koi the best acs in emea in the 2. Split, he just needs some to get confident and when hes confident hes insane and hes been getting comfy on Liquid way faster than he got on KOI
