My 3rd ipad power adaptor got cooked today . when my 8 yr old android adaptor which came with a 13k inr (150$) cheap phone still works .

True. I also used it for notes mostly. But there are certainly quality issues . I'm going to try android tablet next .
apple has already been sued for intentionally having devices stop working or slow down after the warranty period in order to force you to spend more money on new products
