why did knights get replaced? either way hopefully we can get lan events for na challengers
knights probably just dropped out because they didn't think it was worth the cost.
Knights wanted to be TO (tournament organizers) its a conflict of interest for TOs to have a team one or the other
Why is it 3 and 3 for stage 1 relegations but 2 and 4 for stage 2 relegations? And no info on the stage 3 relegations format?
Also 2 T2/GC teams are getting a guaranteed closed qual spot because....?
Also just make the 2 T2/GC teams go through open quals or give them a better seeding in open quals if you want.
The T2 teams are based from stage 2 and 3 I think and honestly Blue Otter and Winthrop would probably qualify for Closed Qualifiers anyways. The GC invite is just being inclusive ig, theres a good chance they get destroyed by the OQ teams or from the teams previously mentioned

Competitive Structure:
Stages:
Stage 1: January - March
Stage 2: April - May
Stage 3: July - September
Bottom teams from each stage up for relegation/promotion with premier teams
Swiss Group Stage Format:
Bo3 matches.
Win 4 before you lose 4
Top 8 teams compete in a double-elimination bracket.
Finals: Bo5 format.
Get points throughout the season
Ascension slot for Stage 3 Champion and for top team by circuit points.

there is a weird thing with promotion/relegation tho where bottom 3 teams out of 16 go to promotion and some premier teams and closed qualifier teams fight to see who makes it to the league in stage 2 then on stage 2 the same happens and shit im not too invested because its a shit ton of text ngl
2 teams go to ascension 1st slot is stage 3 champion and 2nd is decided by circuit points so if tsm flukes they not going unless they win big or are consistent through 3 stages.
Don't get your hopes up RANKERS is most likely splitting due to canezerra and nightz getting poached by m80 or sen academy
on what basis? It's more likely he's going to one of those teams then staying on rankers.
I think he's been trailed. The core is reduxx, skuba and victor rn, and trials are over according to reduxx so just waiting on an announcement
All they need is Eggsterr, Poppin, and BabyJ as the core. Hopefully nights and canezerra can run it back, but I'd imagine plenty of Radiant zoomers want to join Rankers.
I thought the Players earned the spots, not the Orgs. Many of the players that played on these teams last year were unsigned and not paid. In the past it was their spots.
I think they kinda still do as I think M80 are rumored to be making a team and don't have a slot due to not having the core from last year
