nah that's fucked up. There's a chance C9 gets released from franchise in 2027 so he would just be stuck there unless he gets released. He's definitely fucked for a while.
I think he’d get out if they fall out of franchise. Bleed became free agents despite longer contracts.
I really doubt C9 will get dropped from franchising. All the other orgs that could be better then them are already in franchising, as well. If anything, EG would be the only one dropped, replaced by G2.
Its the end date so obviously the end of the year. If it ended before the 2028 season it would end in 2027. They wouldn't pay him for january (as january is kickoff)
personally not a fan of locking yourself into such a long contract, from oxy pov he's a young kid that's secured his future for the time being
