Yes and there are multiple examples of countless of people who else were prey to hateful upbringings. Young people especially are easily manipulated to a racist narrative and only later in life can see their wrongdoings. If you think of yourself a better person you would choose to give a chance for others to change - which kamo is doing.

But the point is that they're illegal. They don't go through the proper processes/background checks to enter the nation --I'm sounding like Meloni right now holy-- which means that the government has to be a bit more hands-on with preventing them from entering the country. I'm not saying it's necessarily bad or anything, but overimmigration can erode local culture/traditions and that's just unavoidable if you have open borders.
