As I'm typing Lev CEO just said Mazino is 90% out and aspas is 80% out
eh better than nrgs super team 😂
For a team with massive chemistry issues since the beginning of january and still having that feeling heading into champs and making top 3, I would say they did well
I recognize leagues of any region just a qualification to the event, international events > splits
Sure, but being the best team in Americas is an achievement, it's not like they flopped
I disagree, you can't call a top 3 in the world underperforming. They were contenders to win it all and they contended, you can't just expect a team to win champs or they underperformed, then any superteam in the world is doomed to fail
Then what is a good season? winning champs is meeting expectations, everything else is a disappointment?
I meant their shanghai event. I get it I get it, chemistry issues, but I would expect a more consistent season. At Champs, they did what was asked of them, didn't get stunned by Trace, only lost to two finalists at champs
Oh yeah that for sure, but I think at the end champs is what really matters. But yes, they started very slow
Moral of the story: super teams are the most overrated concept ever and will not work 99% of the time with the exception of FNATIC who was THE superteam.
yeah, as if just getting the 5 biggest names you can doesn't bring nearly as much success as developing a system
The only big player(s) in LEV are aspas and maybe c0m since both of them won champions
NRG got way more glaze than LEV did. Just to point that out
5 biggest names lev could find.
and also a player like aspas in an international roster just warrants the ''superteam'' title
Could not deny, but i tink this wasnt the best roster Lev could have, like, its not a big diference, but i still tink they should keep NZR, he already was used with Mazino, Kinng and Aspas, and in my opinion, he could do a better initiator support than C0M.
no, different thing with different people today, they said they were gonna talk very briefly about the market but it's not the main topic
Well, Mazino being more likely to leave than aspas is. Everyone keeps assuming he is 100% out
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
lev will be better without mazino. aspas however is a big loss. but a fine enough duelist will do the job
For sure, look at what happened to LOUD, though i’d argue their problem is the lack of an ACTUAL duelist player like aspas throughout the year
Problem with Loud is that they planned to play in a way, didn't practice on offseason, the meta went a completely different path, didn't had a plan b, got desperate and just got worse and worse. the fault is like 90% on the org
Saadhak was the one who forced loud players to not play gekko, he said it didnt fit their actual gameplay style and gameplan.
Peu ( coach ) also said that despite gekko being supa strong, saadhak was firmly against it, thus the memes where ppl kept saying saadhak was the one who controlled everything
