put a Masters in the same venue as IEM Dallas and it'll be hype i guarantee it
i dont think people realize that cs majors dont do any audience untill final 4 days
cuz most cs events are in EU while a lot of val events are in countries like japan korea china where people are more respectful and not like wild animals

it wasnt even better in any match lmao,and the rio playoff crowd was louder too even tho it was the most boring playoffs ever apart from furia,lock in atmosphere wasnt even close
lockin finals even though in smaller arena are pretty much better than every rio game except furia vs navi . yeah it became a library as soon as fnatic started winning but thats expected from br crowd .

and listen to the atmosphere,val crowd needed a packed out arena to barely sound like this for their home team lmao,just makes it even better,the teams were some of the most boring u could get to playoffs and the organizers had gaules (basically brazilian tarik for cs) fanfest outside the arena so ppl would be there watching the games it was a big fumble by esl
i dont know maybe my heaphones are broken but this definitely does not sound better than lockin finals , u are faded , listen maybe u are getting it wrong . i am not arguing that in general CS crowds are not louder and more active than any esports the world , cuz they are. My point was just about chengdu vs shanghai and the overrated rio major crowd . also i think the crowd mics suck in val , if u watch lockin from main stream compared to tariks stream its night and day
yea i just watched the start of the lock in final and theres almost no difference,in terms of atmosphere i would say the cs game is even better with the chants and shit lol
Val fans would rather watch the games on stream or watch parties rather than showing up in person idk

Less hardcore team/esports culture (in my opinion)
No crowd mic
Less crowd expressiveness (not as many crazy signs, dancing, etc. due to Riot regulations because T for Teen game rather than M)
