So with what youre saying, if G2 doesnt make it out of Group Stage in Champs but SEN does, John is the better IGL yeah? I mean everything before that is in the Past.

i always thought he was second to only fns in NA with the potential to beat him too.. if he wins a major then his place will be cemented as one of the best
Idk abt one of the best yet since he hasnt shown that hes consistent enough if they do good next year too then i agree but for now hes 100% top 2 or 3 NA
if you consider guard's performance over the last couple of years he has been good regionally.. i would say Guard was the second best team with XSET in pre-franchise NA and some of the credit should go to valyn. He needs to transfer this regional performance to an international LAN like the rest of his players, especially leaf
Jesus christ enough with the fns comparison. Based on majors, sure, but valyn has the same or better macro with way better gunplay. No other igl gets the benefit of the doubt like FNS does.
For now I’d say they are equal but all of it could change depending on if 1 of them is top 3 at champs.
they been equal since ascension times tbf, no one is better than the other. valyn is igling with the same core and johnqt is igling with zekken and tenz
I mean the teams themselves are different, the roles they play are different.
They have different protocols, its not a fair comparison
If you placed them in the opposite team, who knows how the reads are.
All im saying is, every IGL is different, and there are so many variables that it is impossible to make a fair comparison
