sen for sure weren’t playing at their best but dude you cannot deny how good g2 are playing right now
Anytime a team relies on one player to carry them, it almost always goes wrong. The game vs. SEN was so dominant because Icy would shut down all 1v1s. In my opinion Valyn and Leaf are the ones who will really determine whether G2 wins.
icy turning up is also a factor for if g2 can make a deep run; they already made a deep run in shanghai but if icy can play like idk prime jawgemo constantly even tho we all know that won’t happen.
the only comparison should be to gen g really. only super consistent team through out the entire year and prx hasn’t been that hot.. th has the 2nd place curse like prx unfortunately. but if they win stage 2 they’re definitely contending favs. we should just wait and see what the seeding is like first before all this
I included PRX and TH is because the SEN match showed a peak G2 performance, so it's only fair to compare to a peak PRX and TH performance.
Peak TH is genuinely terrifying.
fair, sen had audio issues on map 1 so it kinda hindered them cause they could’ve won more defense rounds. anyways though valyn himself he wants to meet sen again in playoffs in a better fashion. let’s hope we get a good game by then

Icy has been trending upwards, if he peaks at Champs, G2 will make a deep run
just like how c0m peaked at champs, he was the biggest x factor thanks to his clutches and game changing rounds

even as a g2 fan this is a bit of a stretch. yeah they were playing pretty good in stage 2 but you have to remember how they got shit on by geng. also sen is NOT comparable to th, geng, etc. yes they are good but right now sen is kinda washed imo
