wait, which event? you do realize qualifying for playoffs doesn't guarantee a spot in masters/champs, right?
(they have to win 2 to qualify for champs, but its funnier if its symetrical to the first instance)
(i just looked and KRU lost 2 in split 1, my joke is actually true now!)
I mean that’s the problem no?
Went 5-1 farming a tier 3 group in split 1 -> split 2 doesn’t matter one bit
if that’s the case then furia should be taking their spot because they’re 3-1 this split
I’m just saying it’s crazy that at the beginning of the year everyone was looking at split 2 to be this super hype event that had so much on the line when in reality the format provides scenarios like this where split 2 regular season doesn’t matter one bit for a team
At least playoffs are hype though
Thats why this format don't make sense nor work for Valorant. It's stupid. Rosters and meta changes randomly, so reset each Stage and keep it that way instead.
