If it’s for marginalized people then why can’t trans ppl who identify as male play? It just seems backwards to me

I asked one of the GC reps back in 2021 about this and they said they were looking into including it, which hasn’t happened yet.
When people are discriminating against trans ppl they usually don’t care which gender you started as

trans men still receive awful treatment - they are ABSOLUTELY marginalized.
Imagine not being allowed to play in a league that’s sole purpose and marketing is inclusivity
They’re effectively barring trans ppl from playing bc they identify as a non-marginalized gender

There's just no way, excluding perhaps the most marginalized Gender from the TOURNAMENT MEANT FOR MARGINALIZED GENDERS is hella crazy
It is real. Their mission is to protect marginalized genders, and male doesn’t fall under them. Meaning: if a trans person who identifies as male wasn’t trans, they could play in GC, effectively barring “some” transgender people from the league 🙃

GC is not for marginalised groups, rather it is "no men". If you've ever tuned into the live chats, the GC community is often toxic towards the male player base whenever trolls are around; "this is why I hate men", "why do men", "these men just can't handle women are better" etc. Whenever I watch these games (as a guy) I'm just wondering if they realise a good chunk of the people tuning into these games are also men. Whatever.

Nope. At least as of the most recent update back in 2021, Bob confirmed that trans-men were not welcome in the GC league and that they hoped this would change. It has been 3 years and I haven't heard of any trans-men in the scene...Have you?
