haha geng pretty much had sunset as permaban this tourney + they had 5 days to counter sen split (tbh i didnt expect sen to be that bad on breeze)

SEN have to ban either icebox or breeze, no? those are the maps where jett can literally take over the game, and we know that zekken's jett isn't at that level yet
i honestly think SEN are more likely to let ascent go thru than either of those no?

I think if sen win its gonna be 2-1, they can only ban 2 of 3 bad maps which are breeze ascent and icebox
and geng can win either 2-1 or even 2-0 because they like split and lotus too
i think Lotus is really fucking good for Sen. John's midrounding from A to B and their C control is wayy better than GenG, the only way GenG win is if they can shut down sen's attacking A control
and in the second map Sunset, on attack they have to fight up on A link, to prevent sen's set retakes from happeneing,
on Sunset defense they have to control the 1 way on A main. we saw how Heretics stuffed out Sen's attack by maintaining control of that lane for the first minute, which made Sen's attacking side difficult

its gonna be split lotus and whatever sen wants to let thru between breeze ascent and icebox
tf did sen do that geng will say "yeah we gotta ban split"
they beat kc and loud, while geng beat edg and prx on that map
I guarantee you theyre gonna let split slide as they consider it one of their best maps (and it is)
this literally happened with EG fracture. Sen split is literally the same thing, they are good at it, and teams ought to respect it or they are gonna start out 0-1 in the series
Sen's fundamentals on Split are wayy too good for GenG to bulldoze through with double duelist. the no senti on attack means Sen's retake potential is really strong as GenG have to hold for JohnQT's flanks
and on defense they have to get info using players, meaning that Sen's default playstyle is really strong in the midround
we shall see
I have no idea how split is gonna play out with double duelist it's gonna be very chaotic
why did geng not pick ascent or breeze....
they mustve prepped super hard for lotus
geng have played ascent 3 times and won 13/5 13/5 13/4 so it may be better than their breeze/icebox and besides sen don't even look that bad on icebox
idk, to me icebox is more of an awping jett map than ascent, the double flash comp didn't get much value against Loud, but ig its bc of double wall, its tough to say for sure

Why is everyone saying SEN’s banning ascent, surely they ban breeze or icebox against geng
Sen would get plowed harder on breeze no cap, also Loyd’s ascent got read like a book
