no double elim in a tournament this important is so fucking dumb. the best teams might not even make it to madrid due to this format. it’s just up to luck t1 should be going man

Anyone but if you don't have a double elimination bracket you will never know who is better
i agree, double elim would give better rankings but Single elim is more intense, more weight and hype for the matches
maybe in a tournement but single elim is nonsensical for sending two teams to an event, the rankings are the whole point
the same way everyone was doing tier lists after each team had played 1 game... eye test

Man really thinks T1 is top 2 in Pacific. They won against Bleed and Zeta and we all know those two teams were absolute dogshit. They had their chance to prove themselves. All they had to do was win PRX. They couldn’t.
I think about those format shit every time it pops on vlr and it always comes down to the fact that riot just not having enough resources

just draw teams out of a hat to play eachother, winners go into winners bracket, losers fight through losers bracket. Been the same in FPS games for years riot trying to implement moba style stuff again into FPS
