it's a mickey mouse tournament a week after a major update, taking these games 100% serious is a little questionable
The ascension teams are using this tournament as a way to prove that they can compete with franchise teams, and are taking it as seriously as possible

there's a pretty big difference in motivation there
maybe for c9's case, but for 100T these are all pre-update comps and these maps didnt face any changes
