yeah thats fair, i would want to add an asterisk to zekken as he barely played duelist this year and hasnt even been on a LAN
true but im speaking about 2023 though, he was very good in 2022 but the competition was weaker also
but defo a good player cant lie, he and cryo singlehandedly that team of bots to champs playoffs
I respectfully disagree. Demon1 has displayed great skill and stats throughout 2023, but Derke has been consistently performing on the big stage for 3 years now. Demon1 had a higher peak than Derke (or every player itw for that fact) in 2023 but i think its still early to place him this high.
Then also the argument comes up that youre 'delusional' or recency bias that you rank Demon1 that high even though he has only attended 2 LANs as of now. Its a similar situation to TenZ, and we know how TenZ situation turned out (BUT not saying that Demon1 will fall off aswell).
Its fucking destined for him to be Top 10 itw ATLEAST. Its a no-brainer

something on the other hand just attended his first LAN, still got 2nd which is respectable but he has his APAC superteam on the back
yeah imagine that ONE player carried so hard that even after the event the other 4 remain irrelevant. thats how hard goatned carried

yea all those tourneys he had a whopping average rating of 1.05 which is mid, good raze but overrated asf. aspas, derke, yay, cned, demon1, tenz clear in terms of all time and others like something, keznit and sayf also clear him but havent had that much team success just yet. also the honorable mentions are aids, other than that good list tho

yay's duelist wasnt better than jinggg duelist. aspas/derke clear i agree thats why hes higher on hte list. cned/demon1 dominated one tournament. t0nz not even worth discussing.
something, keznit and sayf
keznit is good i will take a note of that. sayf has not met his expectations in 2023 at all (SPEAKING ABOUT LAN), but he was a demon in 2022 i cant disagree. something is good but we need to see more.
