I know nothing about CSGO but how was good was Nitr0? I'm aware CSGO & Valo are 2 different games but I was just wondering if he was good at CSGO.
Also he was an IGL there too I'm guessing?

It doesn't matter if he was good at CSGO
Him being an IGL is already enough tbh
mid player, but he has characteristics and is already used to competitive environments like CSGO, VAL, also he likes to be IGL, so why not.
Nitro was really good, he wasn't ever the star fragger that an aspas, yay, or derke were, and no he wasn't the elite "play your role" guy like a nats/less/suygetsu, but there are only soo many of those players in the world.
When he was on liquid the teams he were on was as good as anyone, and they got a handful to 1st place finishes.
i was obviously reffering to valorant not cs when bringing up those players impact in comparison to nitr0. Pretty sure half the guys i mentioned either never played cs professionally in the tier 1, and thats a fact for most valo players. Many of them are kinda rejects
nitr0 is mid

all these legends in valorant were trophyless in cs haha they should thank god valorant came out cause otherwise their carreer wouldnt exist right now
ScreaM, Ethan and ANGE1 have more trophies & tournament winnings in CS than in Val.
ScreaM was a household name in CS:GO early era, and he definitely has more trophies in CS
ANGE1 was qualifying and playing in S-tier tournaments/Majors since the CS 1.6 days starting with 2007
You don't know what you're talking about
PS: This was meant as a reply to #10
Well APAC CSGO was never good and CS in NA died during and after Covid. The other EU players were very young and the only people who switched that were EU who were good imo were
Scream, Nivera, Nukkye, Jammpi, Angel, and Ethan. Everyone but Jammpi sort of suprised me when they switched
He won Grand Slam (few tourneys in short timespan) and few tournaments, but Team Liquid were known mainly for chocking, tier1 is tier1 still
he got washed and when no team in cs would pick him up he played tier1 valorant in 100 thieves
It’s hard to quantify how good someone is at CSGO and then project it to Valorant, but let’s just say he was 5x the CSGO player FNS was.
its not that hard
trash in csgo = good in valorant
good in csgo = the best in valorant
skill wise he was good b4 he was igl. then he slowly declined while being igl. he did win the grand slam in the fastest time possible.
The only good cs pro left their cs career for valorant is ethan. Scream wasn’t relevant(because cs is spraying focused. Scream had bad utils and mid spray for cs) when he switched. His brother nivera seemed fine on paper but he wasnt the main factor that vitality did well. Zywoo carried the team. He did aight playing in vitality as a 6th man tho.
Dont really know much about other eu pros. But most tier 1 eu cs pros didnt switch. Some of the most promising eu prodigy didnt switch, for example monesy, b1t. Players who switched are the one who were not good enough to get picked up by a tier 1 org.
Na is even worse. Most ex cs val pros in early val are those teamless tier 2 pros. All these boomers like hiko, steel who were literally trash could get a spot in val scene was literally crime.
And nitro was dogshit and got benched by liquid when he switched to val. He was good but not anymore
