[serious], what do we ascribe their loss to? It cannot be that EG is simply unbeatable, no team can be 100% invincible. (NIP 87-0 excluded). Has someone properly showcased what are the things that directly contribute to EGs success in a detailed manner?

Not against Fnatic, but their Ult economy, their incredible ability to win 14/14 on 1st or 2nd round so far, they are 12/14 on PISTOLS but when they lose the pistol, they win the 2nd to get adv back to themselves, then on top of that they are one of the only teams who you actively expect to win 3rd right now, on top of that there's the teamplay aspect they have between each other and the trading, i think those are the biggest reasons for why they are so good rn, in order.

I would personally attribute it to the fact Potter is a goddess amongst men. And that's it. Girl power

EG grinded out a playbook. I think their variance and depth of strategy on pistol rounds and bonuses make them insane, but their midrounding is also insane which allows them to become a team that you can be prepared for and still lose to.

I think someone is also dedicated anti, as in someone has memorized setups from other teams, since I have heard potter talking about how they know the setups and they know what to do off of it (and because they have 2 igls and one secondary caller, which I imagine one of them is always recalling other team’s playbooks.)

Players are all confidence which allows them to come out on top on the few scrappy rounds.

Theres probably a lot more.
