$40 for an event at a stadium is honestly not bad all things considered. stuff in the US is going to be more expensive than other places like Istanbul, and there hasn't been a LAN at Singapore to compare that to. a quick google search seems to indicate that $40 is around par for the course for CS events too but i can't confirm

a lot of the pros complaining about the prices are willing to spend over 100$ for skins but not 40-100$ for a ticket, doesnt make sense to me. besides, this is LA we are talking about, nothing is gonna be cheap. best options imo would be just to get tickets from tiers 4-7.
