So we know FUT will be with EDG and NAVI with ASE. Just gotta work out where the other 4 go
they wont be, it wouldnt make sense to punish teams for preforming well by putting them in a "better" Pool where the opposition is tougher
most likely the post details the first matches and the teams in the same pool cant meet until playoffs or lower bracket
how can you even decipher what the groups are from that guy has tweeted? i know one thing for sure, one china, one apac, one emea, one americas, this will be for both groups. #1 china, #2 americas with # 3 apac and #4 emea
#2 china #3 americas #2 apac #3 emea. this will be my guess
these are not the groups those are seeding pools so pool 1 is hiighest seed pool 4 is lowest and they they will do a random group with one team from each pool
these are just seeding not groups....my guess is that each group wil have one team from each pool
there's no way drx & nrg in the same group considering they both came 2nd in their respective league
Okay so to make things simple, the Masters Group Pool are:
Pool 3: NRG, DRX
Pool 4: ASE, FUT
Pool 5: EG, T1
Pool 6: EDG, NAVI
For Tokyo, Riot is indeed adopting the Worlds seeding rules, where each region will only have one representative each in their respective groups, so each group will have:
Americas
EMEA
Pacific
China
And that is final for both groups.
Now, because each Pool has a mirror of itself (AM/PAC and EMEA/CN), we can at least assume there's a 90% chance that:
EDG and FUT will be in the same group
ASE and NAVI will be in the same group
NRG and T1 will be in the same group
EG and DRX will be in the same group
It's just a matter which AM/PAC pair will be placed alongside the EMEA/CN pair.
bruh just do it so the regions cant be in the same group like eg and nrg have to be in separate groups. just dont stack a group like having nrg navi and drx all in the same one
