The only reason this sounds loud is because G2 is the only org to compete at the highest level in all major esport games.
They've pretty much GOATed in all those games being Europe's/Worlds undisputed best, so this is yet another motivation for GOATcelote

August has been a shitty month for G2 indeed, but we can also agree on the fact that defeats are part of it.
However, although defeats can be noisy depending on how you look at it and what you extract off them, they shouldn't put down everything they've achieved/done throughout the year.
It's not like G2 fans care, this is for those who don't follow the scene much.
-G2 R6 is the best team to ever touch the game and nobody comes even close. They started 2021 winning the 1st R6EUL ever, placed 2nd in season 2 ad #1 in GSA iirc.
Not a good run at the Major but they knocked out current world Champs 2-0. Choked against wildcard regions :shrug:
-We know G2 LoL changed European League forever. The greatest dynasty, longest era and best European team ever. The only one to win an international trophy if you don't count xPeke's, and the 1st ones to win MSI. They were the most consistent international team in the last 4 years but everything comes to an end so this is a great opportunity for G2 to rebuild and do their magic. #1 in RS Spring Split 2021 and their academy doing pretty good. (Losing to Fnatic lol. Valorant team would never)
-Same case for G2 valorant, which happens to be the best performing team out of the 3.
They ate big SMB dick but they managed to qual to Berlin alongside Acend as Eu's 2nd team, #4 EMEA (0.01s away from going through as #3), with a whole different core within a month of practice apparently.
-G2 CS:GO has been #1 international team during the entire year.
They had this 1 off tournament but they're still qualified for the Major.
After losing to Sinners in the opening match they had to go G0-5. Anything other than that would've been a complete failure 😌
Rest of G2 depts are killing it btw
Lastly, imo it's the only ones I can trust on to spin it around and come back stronger. Besides, "defeats" never feel as such and it's rather funny.
It's not like I care because I unironically think it's about having fun at the end, and they're pretty much undefeated and this and the art of giving 0 fcks

Both Gambit and Navi are technically international rosters in csgo, g2 are not more successful than either of them this year.
