Yay proves no matter how good u are,unless ur team sets u up u can't do much.Aspas and derke aside(EVEN THEY GET HELP),most players need help,especially duelists.Doesn't change much from ranked to pro play.Doesn't matter with who it is.

You really must not watching the games if you think aspas and derke plays alone their teams have of best coordination in the world
these attack rounds from steel are HORRIBLE.. no working sites, just running around until the last few seconds before rushing and trying to plant. genghsta is cosplaying icebox sage, clear and nerve are trying their hardest, yay is solo holding a site with an op, and steel is running around trying to figuring out what to do….
both of these teams make pearl look like a balanced map, attack side was pretty bad from both.
oxg didnt even look their best on pearl, and dsg couldnt even capitalize sadge
yeah i truly think this game was dictated by pace and steel’s incredibly slow play style and insanely aggressive over peeks didn’t set yay up for success. it’s sad to see cuz nerve had an insane series and most all of them showed really good things, with more time they’ll be good but unfortunately all this hates gonna be put onto yay.

Aspas carried even when he was on a bad team. He also reached top 1 in the rankings several times. He can carry even without proper support.
its 2023, not saying he couldnt now but the level of play has increased a lot even in 2-3 years. Most tier 2 teams are miles better than probably any tier 1 teams in 2021.
you are delusional if you think that's true. May be one or two maps or against mid tier teams but no one player can carry a team to championship they way they could do in 2021. TenZ was rank 1 multiple times, cryo too. That doesn't mean shit
I would say yay didnt look good but he also didnt look too bad for a debut. He didnt have the support he had when he was on optic so I think he still has to get used to that. Also they have only been practicing with yay for like 2-3 weeks. I would say give him about 2-3 matches and then we can evaluate properly from there.
