sacy would be a good igl but i still think the lang barrier would be hard to get thru. even tho his english is pretty good, calling is a lot of talking maybe worth a shot to have him do some calls rn while dephh is still there
who has fed everyone this narrative that say (and pancada for that matter) don't know english? I've heard that say has good English and he even speaks it on stream so why would language be an issue??
Speaking english does not mean he would be comfortable/good igling in english. Just look at redgar, he had a lot of issues igling in english at first. Sacy's english is better but doesn't mean he won't have issues. And he also hasn't igled since 2021 I think.

Yeah but you can't just assume Marved and Sacy both can't IGL. Theres no proof they can either, except sacy being co-igl on loud (confirmed by Kaplan interview) and FNS saying Marved would call on Optic if he left. So like, if im Kaplan ima try to train Sacy on IGL to make a push for champs.
and that's exactly why you're not a coach, this team's dynamic is hard for even veteran IGLs like dephh to manage and you think marved and sacy can handle it

Yeah because he had Ayrin. Ayrin has proved that he can actually IGL. Global plays much better team Valorant than sentinels and it's no coincidence. Marved is also a top 10 player in general so hes just a general HUGE upgrade over dephh.

The two losses are to teams people considered top 3 going into the league. And anyway I'm not saying sykko wasn't the problem, just crazy how quick they switched up from full trust down to building the roster to literally fired. Seems impulsive.

Someone has to go bro. They won't even make top 6 if it goes on. Just look at how stack their roster is. Literally built to win Champions and big money use for these players. they had time to cook even before the league started .

1) don't mish mosh players that have no evidence of chemistry (not to mention an added language barrier) and expect the roster to work cause each moving part had success on separate teams and metas.
The roster was doomed from construction, it was always gonna take a long time to figure out even with strong coaching. It has the potential to be a champion roster but not this quickly.

The 4 SEN players already established chemistry. Language barrier is not really an issue. The question is how Marved addition and different IGL structure will be implemented. Will it be good or bad. This can only be seen in scrims tbh.

They had 3 months to establish a good team, but fail to get the results that was needed.
Not all CEOs can wait for their roster and pray for their roster gets good.
I just think the calls for -dephh are ridiculous, they could definitely use a more mechanically skilled igl, but I don't think they'll find someone who can both igl and frag better than dephh rn within the team. Sacy hasn't ever been the primary caller for a team and while, yes, he is much more mechanically skilled, it's impossible to know whether he'll be able to keep up that level while thinking about the macro game plan and midrounding. Marved is also a historically quiet player, as FNS said during his time in Optic. I think they stand a significantly better chance of a championship while keeping dephh in his current role and bringing in Marved for TenZ to give him a break and allow him to get back into form. Put zekken on duelist and let Sacy go back to initiators and give Marved Sacy's current role, thats my take.
Yes, SEN has 3 options
- -TenZ + Marved - sure, the team would follow the same IGL structure, but will it get the results that SEN wants.
- -Dephh + Marved - let the scrims decide if this change would be good
- Continue with this shit roster and wait for results
Marved has calm personality if he trains he can be a good igl but for sure if deph is out of squad sacy gonna igl
