I like it way better because I hate when the team wins the final then has to play the grand final again with no map advantage.

not ideal but i don't mind it either. overall i'm just happy that there will be more teams in playoffs as a whole, and thus more teams playing against each other
I think single elimination is better for viewership, but worse for competitive integrity. Both have issues tbh. In some games, teams/players straight up have a bracket reset if the upper bracket winner loses in the final. Thank god that doesn't happen in FPS games.
it's better for a high stake playoffs like Berlin. More pressure = More fun to watch.
cs majors are single elim and i like it, either way it's better thanthe old one
Now that 2 teams make it out of groups makes it more exciting
The stakes are higher for each game which will make for a fun watch
I think double elim is ideal, but with the time constraints single elim makes the most sense and it's still just as fun to watch. Getting 2 teams out of the groups was the main problem that's now thankfully solved
I prefer single elimination if there's any sort of seeding matches prior like a group stage or use swiss format
