absolutely there's no doubt about how good SMB are. As everyone accepts, SEN and ACE are S tier teams. So can we add SMB to S tier?

They qualified for Berlin? They won against FPX, G2 and ACE? I don't think it's early.
If they win Berlin then they could be S tier. Sen and Ace have won tournaments before.
Even though it was obv. cuz of the single elemination bracket, Acend didn't attend the masters 1.
Well, I think you don't actually get what S tier means. It has nothing to do with winning any tournaments, also winning Berlin means you're the best team in the world.
If a new team wins against best EU teams one after another, that team is S tier.
Or it’s just a miracle run.
Was cloud9 in csgo an s tier team cause they won a major? Hell no, the pieces just miraculously came together at the right time.
We really haven’t seen enough from SMB to decide what kind of tier they are.

Thata not my point bruv. Obviously SMB are insane, u cant put them over gambit and acend 100 percent yet. For me it seems like those 3 teams are all quite close together.
Also th guy above said they won against fpx and g2. Well fpx is basically trash and g2 isnt the best team in emea. Also winning against acend doesnt make you the best team instantly aswell. We will se at masters. Thdy deff have potential to win it all. I hope we see 100T v acend and smb vs sen in semis

fpx is trash, they won against a new g2 and a liquid with 3 weeks less prep time to qualify for EMEA, Liquid was one fight away to qualify to berlin, if they wouldve qualified u wouldve been very quite at this point
I think so, I think acend and sen are more established as tier 1 teams tho cuz they have been consistent
If SMB can win the run back of ACE or beat Gambit then yeah, they are an S team.The hardest game for SMB will be in the GF because SMB came out as a cool surprise but now other teams will be prepared. SMB is very good for VAL so it is cool to see them rise!
only 'S' tier in my book is SEN, they are the only team which performed consistently top place across all tournaments.
yes people overrate in S tier but S is supposed to be the best of the best so i agree with you

Honestly I think Sen are the only true S tier team right now because they have consistently been a top 3(After first strike they've been #1) team in NA for about a year now and they have proved themselves on LAN too. Acend, while they have looked great, they haven't consistently been a top 3 team in EU and they didn't make Iceland either. SMB are also too new to be considered a S tier team yet. If Acend and SMB prove themselves on LAN, then I will consider them S tier teams but as of right now, Sentinels are the only S tier team imo.
