he doesn't NEED to be a star player/carry anymore, he just has to play his role. they're winning. it's about team results not personal stats.
C9 is using yay differently from how FNS and OpTic used him. OpTic used so much utility and planning to try to send the enemy to yay's site. C9 stacks their roster with 4 cracked riflers and they run down the other team together. Yay doesn't need to be a star player when each player can get a 4k on retake every round like we saw.

I’m saying Yay can’t play Jett and be highly productive like he was in the old days. Fraud just became Chamber one trick and fell off. Now he plays Sage and became below average in terms of impact.

Nats role is an anchor/lurker, viper is an anchor agent and Astra too. Yay was entry on duelist agents, now he changed his role only cz he can’t play Jett anymore too weak
this mf is smoking something yay is incredible he just doesn't have to do much as his team is a lot more self sufficient
I know most people gonna hate me but yay is 1 trick chamber main, he was so dependent that now he can't play any other agent and his team is adjusting for him to play according to yay's ease. I know he can play jett but since zellsis on duelist so he can't really play jett and he doesn't know any initiator/controller/sentinel (except chamber)/Duelist(Zellsis). Either yay should gain some flexibility on other agents or C9 should opt for other player.
PS: Many people will say yay has good aim but only good aim won't be everything, there are agents you should know how to use apart from 2,3 agents. for example take a look at Scream. Used to be jett main but now plays literally every role.
