For the upcoming #VCT Challenger Playoffs, Luminosity VALORANT is announcing that Joseph "@Ban_Val” Seungmin Oh is being moved off of the active roster and starting immediately Kaleb “@mooseloff” Jayne will be moving back into the starting lineup.

moose originally joined Luminosity in early February alongside Diondre "YaBoiDre" Bond, following over a month of trials with the duo. The Canadian maintained a strong presence in the roster, helping with the team's strong rise through the rankings, before stepping down in late June following an injury to his wrist.

In early July, the organization brought on ban as a part of their roster rebuild. A former Squirtle Squad and Serenity player, ban struggled to make a strong presence on the scoreboard as Jett and Sage, averaging around 180 ACS in the last two months.

As a part of the team's previous roster rebuild, Tanner "TiGG" Spanu was notably announced as a stand-in for the roster, likely as a stopgap until moose's recovery. With ban moving to the bench, it seems increasingly likely TiGG will remain a part of the Luminosity core for the remainder of Stage 3.

moose returns to the Luminosity roster at a critical time for the team, on the eve of the Stage 3 Challengers Finals, which will seed the top two teams directly into the Stage 3 Masters in Berlin. Luminosity are notably locked into the Last Chance Qualifier for North America, guaranteeing the team two chances at qualifying for an international LAN.
