So many Indians in VLR:

They are 5% of the website even though they don't play in VCT.
I wonder if it will go down after they get stomped in APAC qualifiers.

My honest opinion, Korea>Japan>SEA>India and Nuturn will most likely get the LCQ slot
oh yeah most probably but am happy for my country esports is finally getting the recognition it deserved a whole lot of new potential coming out in the local tournaments we arent there yet to beat the top dogs but am sure in the near future the results will differ :)
Nuturn is basically guranteed to get the LCQ spot. Only other korea team is F4Q, maybe damwon if korea wins masters 3. If it was Damwon they wouldve probably made a super team but i think f4q is just a content creator team or some shit like that so ez for nuturn
no DWG will get the apac slot, its just simple relational operation, see t3xture > everyone. all jokes aside DWG are the most well built team i see with an insane jett who they dont have to set up like VS has to do with buzz.
There is very slim chance in ACPC qualifiers. But still if India gets a chance it will be awesome. Till then #TSMWIN
Its popular in the SEA region but other games are bigger over there.
Essentially, Valorant has a presence, but it certainly isn't the first pick for a lot of people.
as far as I know PC gaming is not popular at all, PUBG mobile and cod mobile are the most popular games here
idk why people play pubgm anymore its gives me aids just looking at the shit they add every other day to the game. i like codm a little better cause i used to play it with my friends when it first came out and we went to legendary together. but after they nerfed the msmc the game died for me, the aiming and recoil control gods were shafted for weirdos who would pay for 0 recoil op guns. killed the ranked gameplay for non paying players. anyone who played the game when they brought out hbra3 knows what im talking about.
From what I heard from my Malaysian friends, PubG and Apex are actually quite popular over there (as for pc gaming). Mobile games are still predominantly more popular but you do see people playing pc games over there.
Too bad that India has to go against Japan and Korea for lcq maybe they have a chance against Korea but I personally don’t think they can beat teams like nuturn, damwon etc
Japan is the weakest region in the world, much weaker than SEA and of course not even close to Korea
Go check Iceland results, Raccoons got owned by X10
I think Indian team will easily roll them (Zeta, Reject, Nth or whoever will be in LCQ)
Yeah I worded my post wrong I mean to say I think they can beat Japan and sea maybe but not korea
Latam got out of group stage and even defeated ZETA and KEYD what you on about?
SEA might as well be just thailand with how bad all the teams from the other countries are tbh. HK/TW is trash, PH is trash, VN is super trash, ID has good players but no good teams, MY/SG has Paper Rex but thats it and even they throw easy games like crazy. rn its Korea >>> Thailand > JP = SEA > South Asia
It's gonna be hard in LCQ APAC
There's Nuturn/DWG in KR, 2 of Nth, CR or Zeta Division in Japan also not to mentions Top Team in SEA like X10, Full Sense, PaperRex, Bren Esport, Boom etc etc
Damn... its gonna be banger
Although their population is 1 billion, it is not bigger than Turkey and America.
Correct, because opportunity in India is very low. Many people live in poverty, and if you are fortunate enough to not be, the standard career path is encouraged more because it is a lot less risky. That's why outside of India, Indians are known as nerds, even though they are good at some sports (cricket, field hockey). As esports grow, I think more opportunity will arise in these smaller regions.
the player base in india is really big, but most of the people who play the game are not interested in the competitive scene. I watch the NA and EU matches but i myself dont watch the indian matches.
nearly 25% of the traffic of vlr.gg is from US. No wonder why there's so many dumb takes here lmao
it is increasing bro it is now 6.40% I guess riot south asiamarketing team is doing some good work here
