According to old news I've heard Riot may push G2 on this (on selling the LEC slot)
It’s very different, one thing it’s not giving them something and the other one is taking away something they have. Different concepts, plus can’t really punish for not breaking any rules

See, I can see why they did what they did, it doesn’t affect Riot’s brand and looks bad to investors to accept him. But not really on a position to kick him since he didn’t break any rules for it
They should just punish Carlos and not the whole org . Many people worked hard for 2 years to build this brand
Why should Riot punish him tho? He didn’t break any rules? What they did here is not accepting him cause it affects their brand, but there’s a difference between that and a sanction, they can’t punish him for that
Talk all they want, Carlos brings a lot more to the business that what this polemic is gonna cost. (People won’t remember in like a week). So yeah, dumb decision, he is literally the best business man in the industry
It probably will not happen because like TSM, G2 is grandfathered into League -- they have seniority there.
The valorant eSports organization at Riot are much younger and are growing the roots of the Valorant community.
Consequently, this means that not only are the possible employees younger and have more views that are polarized with the whole Andrew Tate situation, but also that they do not necessarily need G2 as there are others willing to pay more and devote more/as much to Valorant than G2 are while maintain the community they want.
I would love that :)) not even just bc the andrew tate situation the ceo is just a bad person
