Is releasing a tactical shooter on mobile a good idea? Or is this just a money milking cow for Rito?

Will it be healthy for the pc version if the mobile version gets popular? Since countries like Brazil and India mostly have mobile users

We saw what it did to PUBG, mobile version literally overshadowed the pc version

It would be great for everyone involved. No, the skill level will never be better than that of PC, but mobile has a very dedicated player base and Val would benefit from that. Check out Hyper Front on the play stores, it’s got millions of downloads even though everyone brands it as the cheap version of Valorant

Tell that to those who made millions playing PUBG Mobile. It's one of the most profitable esports in Southeast Asia.

pc pubg version had shit ton of hackers. Not the mobile but it was those hackers that led to the downfall of the pc version. Mobile version has hackers too but the reason it became popular is because of its affordabilty as mobile is easier to buy than a fkin pc for a lot of people. Also asia has a big market for moblie games

They can get the market that is South America, China, SEA, South Asia
these are where percentage of competitive Mobile and casual playerbase presence are at worst NEAR EQUAL or more vs PC

I also dont see any possible overlaps (like player switching platforms) there's an unseen playerbase dedicated separately to that.

While MOBA and Battle Royale are very much too crowded, Mobile Tactical Shooters barely dominated by any game. Even CODM is a 4-year suffering with one of the most struggling competitive scene at this point (so prone to loses light against games like VALM)

So in summary: Its the mirror of NA is home of Console, Asia is home of Mobile, but also Mobile Esports as well that should tell all of it

it will overall increase Valo popularity. it's not like mobile people won't watch PC esports. all PUBG mobile players always watched shroud even though he was playing on PC

Its really smart to get into mobile game market. Game dev makes millions compared to pc and only increase popularity of game.
